Overview
This guide explains how to add custom components to your scope of work and how to edit the component to fit the needs of your project. Custom Components can be added by certain users when creating a scope of work if and when they are not able to find the Component they need from the list of already created deliverables.
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in to your SCOPE Better Account.
- You must have created or be a collaborator in a Scope of Work
- You must have the right 'User Permissions' enabled on your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1- Select 'Create new'
- From the Scope overview page click on the orange 'create new' button
Step 2- Select 'Deliverable'
- From the drop down list select and click 'deliverable'
Step 3- Choose Deliverable from dropdown
Step 4- Create Custom Component
- From the component panel on the left hand side select 'Create Custom Component'
Step 5- Build your Custom Component
- Name your component
- Choose item type
- Add description
- Select Next
Step 6- Add Roles to your component
- Add roles from the rate card
- Choose hours for each role
Step 7- View your newly created Component
