Overview
This guide will explain how to upload one or multiple Tasks into the SCOPE Better System via the excel uploader.
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in to your SCOPE Better Account.
- You must have the right 'User Permissions' enabled on your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 Open Manage -> Data
- Click 'Manage'
- Click 'Data'
- Click 'Tasks'
Step 2 'Upload Tasks'
- Click '...' next to 'Add Tasks' to upload tasks
Step 3- Choose Rate Card
- Select Rate Card
Generate Template Link
Step 4 Complete Excel file
- Complete all mandatory fields
- Do not change the format or the upload will fail
- All roles should be group by the department (do not duplicate department name)
Step 4 Upload Excel File
- Select Browse File
- Select File
- Click Validate
Step 5 Upload Complete
- Click Upload
Troubleshooting
In the case of any invalid or missing data in the upload file, you will see the option to download the validated excel file.
This download will highlight all missing or invalid data according to a colour code (pictured below). All highlighted data should be updated and then the file can be re-uploaded back into the scope system.
