Overview
A fixed fee component is a library item component that does not have to be based on roles and hours. A fixed fee component is a task or component that is based on a fixed price. That item may be editable for scope creators or not, depending on your needs per item. These components can also have roles and hours within them, for resourcing purposes, but, unlike standard component prices, the roles and hours do not drive the price of the item.
Note: this article walks you through how to create these manually, one by one in the SCOPE Better library.
