In the ScopeBetter platform there are two ways to upload Fixed Fee components. Components can be uploaded into the Library individually or in bulk via our component uploader.
A scope user is able to add individual fixed fee components by navigating to the Library tab and clicking on 'Create New' and selecting Component.
After you have clicked on Component the a pop-up form will appear for you to complete. All required fields will be highlighted. Make sure to switch the 'Item type' to Fixed Fee.
Once you have completed the required fields click 'Create' which will be orange in colour, which signals the ability to edit and build out your component.
At this point you have the option to toggle on and off whether you want your Fixed Fee Component to have roles and whether you want the fixed fee to be editable. If 'Fixed Fee has roles' is turned on as per the above the item will have a fixed price with roles with hours attached.
If 'Fixed Fee is editable' is turned on it means that a scope user with the correct permissions will have the capability to edit the fixed fee item at time of scoping.
After you click 'Create' you will be taken to a screen with your individual fixed fee component, where you can set the price and add any roles required.

Scope users are also able to upload multiple components into scope library. In order to do so you need to open Library page. On Library page click (...) -> Upload Fixed Fee Components ( 1 )

( 3 ) if for the user is unclear how to upload file should be filled, click 'Generic template' and example file will be downloaded. Do not use this file for import, it is created only for demonstration purposes.

After the import file was successfully validated, rate card and all imported components will be displayed on popup. Click the' Upload' button and all components now will be available in your library.
