Overview
This guide will explain how to upload Components. In the ScopeBetter platform there are two ways to upload Fixed Fee components. Components can be uploaded into the Library individually or in bulk via our excel uploader.
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in to your SCOPE Better Account.
- You must have the right 'User Permissions' enabled on your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions (Adding Individually)
Step 1- Navigate to to the Library
- From top navigation bar select 'Library'
- Click 'Create New'
- Select Component
Step 2- Complete Create Component form
- Add Component name
- Add Component description
- Select Item type 'Component'
- Select Rate Card
- Select Discipline
Step 3- Configure your Component
- Add Roles
- Add Hours
- Update Component Complexity descriptions
Step-by-Step Instructions (Adding via Excel Uploader)
Step 1- Navigate to to the Library
- From top navigation bar select 'Library'
- Click (...) -> Upload Components
Step 2- Generate Template
- Click Generate Template
Step 3- Choose Rate Card
- Select Rate Card from dropdown
- Generate Template
Step 4- Complete Excel template file
- Add Component Name
- Add Component Description
- Add Discipline
- Add Complexity
- Add Role Hours
Step 5- Validate File
- Browse File
- Select File
- Click Validate
Step 6- Upload File
- Once file has been verified upload
