Create your first scope

Overview

This guide will explain how to create a scope of work from scratch.

Prerequisites

1. You must be signed in to your SCOPE Better Account.
2. You must have the right 'User Permissions' enabled on your account.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 Click on Create New

On the My Scopes page select 'create new' on the right hand side.

Step 2 Select 'Scope by work'

Step 3 Complete essential information page

Fill out the mandatory essential information page with scope name, client and rate card.

Step 4 Add Financials (Optional) 

Users can optionally add a scope budget and TPC budget by completing the financial page.

Step 5 Complete more information page (Optional)

Complete any additional information that you want to add to your scope of work. This section can include scope dynamic fields if these have been switched on by your administrator.

Step 6- Click Start Scoping

Once you have completed all mandatory and any optional steps above select Start Scoping in the right hand corner.
